Lost in the woods of central Idaho, we found a Chilean-style roller mill still full of ore waiting to be processed.
The mill is a C.C. Lane slow-speed roller mill and was installed at the mill site around 1930. It once had a steam engine to go along with the Chilean mill and boiler. The adit was only a few hundred feet long and is now caved.

Finding a roller mill still in the backcountry is rare. Check out this other one I found a few years ago.
I was asked not to disclose this mill's name or location. Please enjoy my photos.
