This silver mine, high in the mountains of Central Idaho, was a really fun one to explore. It’s a very wet mine but inside we found a few ore cars and a flooded staft station.

The mine was first worked in 1882 but major production didn’t start until 1924 when a mill and tram were installed. Work lasted only a few short years and the mine went idle. It operated again briefly in the 1940s.

Today, only an empty bunkhouse and a few out buildings remain of the high camp.
