A few years ago, I went out in search of this well-hidden rock shelter full of pictographs. It is one of the most decorated rock shelters in Joshua Tree National Park. Pictographs, probably made by the Serranos, cover the walls and ceiling of the interior cave. It was difficult to photograph them in such tight quarters. This is an amazing place!
If you find this little hidden gem, please respect it and treat it with great care. I’ve been asked not to give directions to this site. It is an irreplaceable and sacred place.
