Exploring Joshua Tree is a comprehensive hiking and historical guide focusing on Joshua Tree National Park's trails and mining history.
This guidebook features 42 selected Joshua Tree trips you can bring along on your adventures. The information in the book is the same as on the website except in book form which is nice to have in the field for reference when you are exploring. The book does a small chapter on geology that isn't anywhere else.
The website will always have the most current information, additional photos, and links to online maps. The trips are up to date as of March 2025.
