“Death Valley Sleeping Circles”, Death Valley National Park

I met up with Dan and we headed out to see if we could find a native trail and large sleeping circle site. We drove out to the area and hiked across the featureless alluvial. We found the trail first. It was fairly well worn in places from years of use. The trail goes for many miles but it was heading away from our site so we only walked a portion of it.

We then came across a sleeping circle site. There are more than twenty sleeping circles at this site. It is an interesting site and one worth returning to, as there is more out here to find.
